Great questions, I voted that more than 8 will be shown but I actually think 8 is about right & I am sure we will see Crash Bandicoot in some shape or form!
The one I hope is right is that we see the console itself!!!

In particular, I answered No to seeing the PS5, because I think this is going to be more about the games, and not the actual console, I reckon that will be shown at another time. I'd like to think Horizon 2 would be shown, but at the same time I'd like for it to be a couple of years in to the console when they're really digging in to its capabilties.

While I will look forward to almost anything Sony's first party studios are cooking the thing I'm most excited for would be to see if Silent Hill and/or Metal Gear Solid are coming back.

I dont believe mark cerny will be on screen. He comes out for tech spec and this is meant to be about the games.

I am just hopping it is not just a bunch of remasters of old games.

I loved BloodBorne and Demon Souls, but not paying $600 so I can play old games again at 4K with RayTracing.

TLOU2, no way I'll loose my preorder. But Ghost of Tsushima I could hold off and play Paper Mario that is out the same day. Play it later on PS5, if FPS/loading are a lot better on it 🤔

Re the ps5 being shown, what's the view on whether a montage teaser compiled of obscure angles counts? (I needs me those quiz points!)
I remember them doing a similar thing with the ps4 before they should it in its entirety.

Though, if Sony doesn't have any plans to have a Smart Delivery equivalent, I feel like Sony would keep something like TLOU Part II and Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 a secret until AFTER the games release so as to not cannibalize on initial PS4 sales.

I can see Spider-Man making an appearance - if only a cameo in a trailer to show the history of the PS4 before moving moving forward to the future. I think its a given that a Sports game will be shown with Fifa and Sony partnered up and as its been over 3yrs since H:ZD, its the most likely 'existing' big game franchise to be revealed. God of War and Spider-man may well be something for next years event reveals. I guess either could get a brief teaser trailer as Sony often reveals games that are 'years' away...

Some are 50:50 in my opinion - Crash in any capacity - yes but a new game? maybe not. Will Hideo Kojima show up - probably not but could still appear in some capacity.

I think Sony need to show the console. Its not that long until its expected to release and people want to see what they are expecting to buy in 4-5months - assuming they are still releasing this year...

Mainly gone against the popular vote on Cerny and PS5 physically being seen. Took a punt Silent Hill won't be there (normally at least one rumour turns out to be false). I think they will show a few PS4 games running improved on PS5 but will be older favourites like Spider-Man and God of War as opposed to the new games not yet out.

I hope there are a few genuine surprises that no-one has 'rumoured'. Only about 24 hours to go people. Hype building!

Hi there good folks. Were probably gonna see the Sillent Hill game, bluepoint game, Horizon 2, possibly GT7, Godfall and a few more games. I do think they will show around 8 games with 5 to 10 minutes of gameplay and some trailers and teaser trailers for upcoming games. Honestly, I´m hoping for some sequels sure, but I´m also very excited for brand New EXCLUSIVE GAMES running on the shiny new PS5. Resident Evil 8 is absolutely going to be there. The leaks have been coming hot and heavy. One of the major leakers who has predicted the last several RE game announcements says it will be there. It’s pretty much the worst kept secret right now

I believe that though Death Stranding made a profit it didn't produce how people thought it would. So I don't think Kojima would have anything in the pipelines at the moment. I wonder if we will see a studio acquisition.

Not saying they will happen but on the list it's most likely we get announcements of RE 8 and the next Call of Duty game and see one of TLoU 2 or Ghost of Tsushima running on PS5.

I'm surprised over 50% of people think there will be a reveal of PS5 on this games extravaganza reveal.

I think they're not ready yet to release the PS5 reveal, probably holding that card close to their chest.

Silent Hill reboot!! RE8! Quantum error, hopefully even more horror games and really hoping for a lot of brand new IPs. Toootally dont want to see remasters unless its the fatal frame series.... Sigh.

Though im sure it wont happen i REALLY wish someone new would release a new fighting game, something different and new. Maybe something based on classic old kung fu movies! Something a bit more grounded than what has been coming out the last decade.

I say many of those questions are hopeful thinking. What I do think is almost guaranteed is a look at the console, even if it might be veiled somewhat - in other words not an explicit view.

Jason Schreier thinks they'll show 7R running on a PS5, then a trailer for Part 2 due for Autumn 2021, then a teaser for FFXVI due for 2025. Makes sense to me.

Even though they're also busy with 7R, it's been 4 years since XV with not even an announcement of XVI. To put that in context, in a 4 year period starting in 1997, we had FFVII, VIII, IX and X. Finally, XV didn't start as XV, of course, meaning the last time SE announced a new single player FF that was conceived as a mainline entry from the start was XIII - and that was announced a whopping 14 years ago.
