We can safely say this trailer features football and not annoy anyone in the process. This first look at FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 on the PlayStation 5 is surprisingly light on gameplay – especially when the two titles will launch later this year. Alas, they do look nice – even if it’s not especially clear how representative of the final products these highly edited cinematic clips actually are.
There’s also no word on what the publisher plans to do with its ice hockey game NHL 21 or its basketball series NBA Live 21 – the latter of which took last year off in favour of a return in time for PS5. As Kylian Mbappe might say, le sigh.

It does seem every year they have a CG trailer that doesn’t have any relevance to what people will actually see in the real game.
