Zombie Army 4: Dead War delivered an excellent co-operative campaign upon its PlayStation 4 launch last month, although the team at Rebellion is only just getting started on that undead front. Available today from the PlayStation Store, the first level of the all-new Hell Cult campaign is packing more nazi zombies to gun down and slaughter than ever before. Check out the announcement trailer above to see for yourself.

"You and your fellow deadhunters must infiltrate a strange laboratory, tear your way through zombified researchers, and solve the mystery of why the dead continue to rise..." is how the press release sums up the first piece of the campaign, but that's not all that's arriving today. A new Horde map is available for free on PS4, while various cosmetics including another character to play as and more weapons and skins.

The two other parts to the Hell Cult campaign will be delivered in the following months alongside numerous weapon and character packs. The biggest standout from Season One's content offering, however, takes the shape of an entirely new mode, another difficulty level, and one more Horde map -- all free of charge. That certainly sounds like a fun time.

If any of this takes your fancy, don't forget that Zombie Army 4: Dead War is still part of the PlayStation Store's Deal of the Week until tomorrow night, reducing the base game to £25.99. If you'd like this new piece of content bundled in with that cost, the Super Deluxe Edition can be yours for £42.24. Will you be playing the first part of the Hell Cult campaign today?
