If like us, you're still playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege five years after its release, then you probably know that the first content drop for year five was revealed a couple weeks back. Well, the good news is that Operation Void Edge is now live on PlayStation 4.

If you have hopes of jumping in and playing today, though, you might want to check to see if your PS4 is downloading the patch, as it clocks in at a whopping 40GB. In addition to a spate of bug fixes and rebalances --including a huge nerf of Lesion -- Rainbow Six players can look forward to a new attacker and defender, as well as a major redesign to launch map, Oregon. There is also a truly bizarre tie-in, as you can buy an elite skin for Ash that transforms her into Lara Croft.

The new attacker, Iana, offers a controllable hologram to scope out the level, while the new defender, Oryx, can sprint through walls as well as the ability to jump up through hatches. Are you excited for the start of Rainbow's fifth year? Clutch or kick in the comments.
