Absolutely. Ive split the cost with 2 friends so approx 17 pounds each (for the early bird discount). 4 people can watch consecutively so nade perfect sense.
The cost of a blu ray for a year of disney plus seems like a bargin to me. Just looking at it this morning, im pretty excited. I have 2 children (2 years and 2 months) and i can see this will be such a valuable investment- particularly whilst we are in lockdown and cant leave the house
@Rob_230 mandalorian is pretty good if u havent seen it yet
Nice avatar btw
Me and my brother have split the cost but i have a feeling I will be using it more than him
Also Mandalorion is awesome and now onto Clone Wars
well how nice to see not all countries are equal! Right now in Turkey (although we have our own branch of Playstation) :
And we're stuck at home like everyone else...
@ellsworth004 I am so excited to watch Mandalorian 😃 hope its as good as everyone says.
Haha thanks on the avatar - You too! I live in hope of a sequel (not confined to nintendo ds). One day!
Signed up for a trial so I can dig into some old Simpsons episodes.
There's a great library of films if you're into Marvel, Star Wars or kids stuff though.
I pre-ordered and have got it installed on my tv and ipad. I'm quite surprised at the 4K / UHD content it claims to have. Even if I just watch all the Star Wars and MCU content, that would last me for the whole year. Add in the other stuff I'll watch, I can justify the £50 pre-order cost even just for myself.
@roe there are a lot of classic stuff on there too, problem is the interface of the app isn't that great to navigate right now
Time for a Star Wars fest starting with the entire series of The Clone Wars.
@BalsBigBrother i work retail in a supermarket so as it's a part of the sector that is vital i still have to go to work
@BalsBigBrother i hope your job is safe in these trying times, i have been unemployed in the past and it's not something i would like to repeat, the benefits system is terribly broken
plus i'm lucky, i work very early mornings and as such i have very little interaction with customers so i have less chances to be exposed
Of course we don't have it in Croatia even though we have official PlayStation support here, are expierencing the same pandemic and have just barely survived the biggest earthquake in 140 years. Thanks Disney...
I'll be waiting until it is available on my TV so I can watch the UHD content. Not checked today yet.
Mandalorian is pretty decent, enjoy!
I've been using Disney+ since last year on my PS4. I had no idea it wasn't available in other European countries yet.
well second week of lockdown in switzerland no skysports anymore so ill give it a shot
Anyone know if Disney is reducing resolution - like Netflix - to help ISP’s cope with the current extra demand?
Well, I haven't tried it yet. I live in New Zealand and the app appeared on the PS4 on the same day as the US version. I downloaded it, but it just sits there. I'll try it out at some point.
How do you get rid of the damn icon from the TV section?
It's locked itself in the 1st spot (it's only a download link anyway) and you can't delete the damn thing!
I don't want Mouse Minus thanks!
