Death Stranding BAFTA Games Awards 2020 PS4 PlayStation 4

It's time once again for BAFTA's video game awards, one of the industry's glitziest awards ceremonies. This year, the British Academy is clearly infatuated with two of 2019's most peculiar games; Death Stranding and Control have each received 11 nominations. The latter even receives a nod for Best Game, while Kojima Productions' game has the most nominees for performers. It's also worth remembering Hideo Kojima will be collecting the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship award.

They aren't the only games to receive multiple nominations, though. Disco Elysium, which is coming to PlayStation 4 this year, is up for seven golden masks, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Life Is Strange 2, and Outer Wilds are recognised in five categories each. There's a real mix of games here, with titles big and small vying for awards. Untitled Goose Game and Outer Wilds will be competing with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Control for Best Game, for instance.

Here's the full list of categories and nominees. We'll find out the winners when the BAFTA Games Awards 2020 ceremony takes place next month. What do you think of all the choices? Predict which games will take home some trophies in the comments below.
