Dragon Ball Z has been around for a long time, but its enduring popularity remains extraordinary. Bandai Namco recently released a game that follows the story of this evergreen anime, named Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and it seems Goku still has plenty of fans in the UK. A lot of them seem to own a PlayStation 4, too; Sony's platform accounted for 73 per cent of the game's physical sales.
The title debuts at number one in the physical all formats chart, topping the juggernaut trifecta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, FIFA 20, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. These games are still within the top five, of course, but Grand Theft Auto V breaks them up in fourth place. Last week's resurgent games, Tekken 7 and Project Cars 2, are now nowhere to be seen. In fact, the latter half of the top 10 is dominated by Nintendo titles, with two 3DS titles springing back to life.
Here's the latest physical top 10 in full.
UK Sales Charts: Week Ending 18th January 2020

Might get this game when it goes on sale in the future, as it looks vaguely interesting.
It looked good and then the reviews came out so it’s gone on the ‘Say I’ll get it at some point but I never will’ list. It’s not like a know an awful lot about DBZ anyway but if the issues are sorted then maybe it’ll be promoted to my ‘Say I’ll get it at some point and possibly might’ list.
@nessisonett fans seem to be loving it judging from comments on ads for the game.
was going to say i'm surprished but as there is really nothing else out its not that surprising
Wario ware in the top 10 AND above Luigi's mansion? That's the part that surprises me the most.
@I_Like_It Every day of every year, more and more people become 18 (or however old their parents think is okay for them to play it if they're ignoring the legal age restriction).
Awesome to see kakarot at #1 (even sold 13% more than the Dragon Ball Fighter Z launch)
Spending MLK long holiday weekend playing it. And I really like it.
A DBZ RPG is not really something I'll go by Reviews. I'll put in the time and make up my own mind.
I'm glad I picked it up its a blast of a game ,it's also very lengthy ,and looks beautiful combat is great ,fusions are sick and many super Saiyan transformations is nice too, it's a very big game tons of exploring to do and secrets to be found ,I means tons
