The January sale on the European PS Store was monstrous already, but Sony's just made it even bigger. Today sees the arrival of dozens more PlayStation 4 titles in the epic offer. PS Plus is getting a price cut too -- it seems almost everything is going cheap.
The 12-month PS Plus subscription is getting a 25 per cent discount. If you got a PS4 for Christmas, perhaps now's the time to secure a year's membership while it's reduced. The offer lasts from today until 13th January, meaning you have 10 days to scoop it up.
But what about the games being added to the January sale? There are some pretty high profile additions well worth considering. Days Gone is down to £24.99, Persona 5 is just £14.99, and it'll only set you back £12.99 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and all its DLC. Check out the PlayStation Blog for the full list of new additions to the sale.
The promotion is set to end on 17th January, so don't spend too much time browsing the digital shelves. Have you made any purchases from the PlayStation Store January sale? Tell us what you've picked up in the comments below.

I'm really tempted by Streer Fighter 5 and then pick up the Championship edition upgrade
I just jumped back into console gaming as the bundles were too good. I got the PS4 Pro + Death Stranding then went a bit mental on the PSN Sale. Assassins Creed Odyssey Ultimate Edition, Bloodborne GOTY, Spiderman GOTY, Horizon GOTY, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout 4 GOTY, Skyrim Special Edition, Tomb Raider Definitive Editon, Tomb Raider Annivesary, Persona 5. I may have enough games for the year though, or the decade....
@Truime that’s one mighty deep dive back into gaming. That’s an impressive list, good luck and enjoy.
@Truime you’ve got a good few hours of entertainment there mate.
I’d suggest God of War as an essential if it’s in the sale too!
Enjoy
Haven't bought anything, still busy on Steamworld Heist and with the Uncharted Trilogy coming in shortly I'll be busy far into February I think 😊
@Bagshot How long do these AAA games stay available?
@Truime That's an impressive list and I've played and loved a lot of those games.
I'm playing AC Odyssey and Rise of the Tomb Raider at present and thoroughly enjoying both.
Have fun!
@Truime If I were to make a suggestion though I'd plump for Horizon Zero Dawn. Probably the most gorgeous game I've played on PS4. The combat is really good, as is the story and Aloy is a brilliant character.
Couldn't go wrong with God of War either, an almost perfect game.
No Witcher 3 on your list though, you need to sort that out. 😉
Just bought the Witcher 3. Been tempted to play through it again after playing it on Xbox a few years ago. Seeing as PS4 is now my main console and at that price I just had to buy it! Been tempted to get persona 5 but really not sure if it’s my type of game
I grabbed Dirt Rally 2.0 with all DLC at a great price. Very happy with it as it performs better than on my more capable gaming laptop and looks stunning with HDR enabled. There are some other good deals, as well.
I wish when they add more games to these sales that they’d include a tab/filter to just show the new games added, rather than have to go through the whole lot again 🙄
Bought RE2 and Astro Bot from this sale, not bad to say I haven't bought a game in months (other than preordering ff7 and tlou2). When I get to them is another thing, I'm still on Yakuza Kiwami from when that was given away on +...
@Bagshot not sure who you spoke to, but they were lying. Days Gone is absolutely terrible.
I was about to buy Battlefront 2 for 12.99 then realised for just £7 more I could get EA Access for 12 months and get it plus a whole load more games to try, think it was well worth it.
