We must say, the post-launch support for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is pretty great. Every month since it drifted onto PlayStation 4, the game has had new tracks, characters, vehicles, and more added into the fold. We hope it'll continue, as these Grand Prix events give everyone a reason to hop back into the driver's seat each month.
The latest of these is Rustland, and as the name implies, it's adding a bit of grit and dust to the candy-coloured kart racer. Clearly inspired by the post-apocalyptic world of Mad Max, the Rustland Grand Prix adds yet another original course and some suitably rusty vehicles. It also includes a new character, Megamix, which is a pretty deep cut as far as this series goes. Appearing in Game Boy Advance title Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure, Megamix is a horrifying melding of Cortex, Dingodile, Tiny, and N. Gin.
In addition to all the cosmetic goodies you can expect, there's also a brand new gameplay feature. Golden Wumpa Hunt places a shiny wumpa fruit in any given race, and it's your job to track it down by following its trail and smashing through particular crates. If you catch it, you'll be rewarded with a bunch of wumpa coins.
The Rustland Grand Prix gets started tomorrow, 16th January. Will you be racing back to Crash Team Racing for this new content? Spray paint your teeth in the comments below.

Crazy that a character that only appeared in one game as a secret boss is now in CTR NF.
Cool, looking forward to trying out the new track and unlocking the new character.
Please give us the option of a custom cup, where you get to pick any 4 tracks that make up the championship. I loved this feature in Mario Kart 8 (deluxe).
I wish SONY kept Crash I would of liked to seen some PlayStation Exclusive characters added to the game like Ratchet and Clank and Sly etc etc. Oh well. Still cool updates tho each time and I normally try to unlock the first Character each month
I absolutely love this game and the amount of free content they’ve given us is amazing. I’m looking forward to jumping into the new Grand Prix.
