Apex Legends Airport Monitor Hijacked PS4 PlayStation 4

We can't imagine too many people are taking their PlayStation 4 with them when they travel, but we bet there are even fewer who lug it around in a backpack, just in case. One such individual has made his presence known in a bizarre story about hijacking an airport display to play his PS4. Alrighty then.

A man, waiting at Portland International Airport, decided to relieve his boredom with a quick go on Apex Legends. Whipping out his PS4, he connected the console to a nearby monitor displaying a map of the terminal in order to fire up the game. Naturally, this didn't last very long before airport staff took notice.

Speaking to local radio station KXL, Port of Portland spokesperson Kama Simonds wanted to make it clear that this is not an okay thing to do. "That is obviously something that we don’t want to have happened, because travelers need the information that we are putting on the screens for them," she said.

The man was asked to stop making use of the airport display, but he "very politely" asked if he could finish his round. The answer was no. "Apparently it was a very polite and cordial interaction,” Simonds said, adding that the incident acts as “a good reminder of what not to do at the airport".

So, there you have it. If you try and play your PS4 using an airport monitor, you'll almost certainly get in trouble. Who knew? Maybe pack your Vita instead next time.
