Was about to click buy but then realized it was the TV series cover.

I'm currently reading it for the third time. The short stories are great. As good as the TV show is, it just doesn't do them justice by editing out so much. The whole thing with the doppler and how they portrayed Brokilon forest was just awful.
@Its_badW0lf I used to feel that way, but the. I realized that companies are always going to make as much money as they can, and it’s silly not to read a book because we don’t like the cover. It’s not the stories’ fault.
@glassmusic I totally agree, I will still get it, but I'll look a bit longer for the original or follow up edition's ones.

Bought the book for the same price in a shop yesterday (Netflix cover too). I'm not fussed on whether it had the original cover on. After all most people only bought the books because of. The game and the now the show.
It's gonna confuse TV fans. The Renfri stuff from Ep 1 is halfway through Book 1 and the Ciri stuff from Ep 1 is from Book 3.
Just downloaded a sample on my kindle.I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would as I tried reading the first game of thrones book but found it too hard going.This one is quite an easy read..will definitely be starting on this series.
Got all the books for £30 not so long ago, on the second book of short stories. Enjoying them!
prefer audible myself, will be listening to them at some point
