Verdun, the realistic World War 1 shooter, took to the trenches on PlayStation 4 back in late 2016, but it's already back with a free remaster for existing owners which bring with it a number of enhancements and improvements to better your chances of survival. Available to download right now, the patch is packing new content and technical tweaks.

Everything from the user interface to the character models has been redone along with realistic audio for weapons used in The Great War, complemented by extra soundscapes which make you feel like you're in the thick of the action. An entirely new map has also been added to the multiplayer experience, a wooded battlefield named St. Mihiel, and up to 24 bots can join you in the fight for victory if you're struggling to find a match. There are even completely new guns to make a part of your arsenal. That way, you'll never be put at a disadvantage.
