Death Stranding PS4 PlayStation 4

Death Stranding arrived on Friday 8th November 2019, and it seems it's been a success at retail in its first weekend on sale. It's the second largest new IP this year, coming in right behind another Sony-published game, Days Gone. While it's clearly selling well, it didn't quite manage to beat the juggernaut that is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is at number one on the UK physical chart for the third week running. Death Stranding debuts in second place.

Another key new release came at the end of last week: Need for Speed Heat. Ghost Games' latest iteration in the franchise crosses the line in fifth, and according to GamesIndustry, hasn't had as big a launch as Need for Speed Payback at retail. Digital figures may tell a different story, of course. Fortnite breaks into the top 10 with a boxed version named the Darkfire Bundle, landing in seventh place. MediEvil, which was 10th last week, is now six feet under at number 27.

Here's the latest top 10 in full.
