Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is one of 2019's heaviest hitters, so ahead of Push Square's upcoming Game of the Year deliberations, this is a fantastic deal you won't want to miss. Amazon US has slashed the price of From Software's latest experience to just $24.99 as part of Black Friday, representing an even better saving than the one to be had on the PlayStation Store.
We concluded that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a "fiercely challenging, yet highly compelling action adventure" in our 8/10 review back in March.
Despite some slightly ropey traversal and occasionally dodgy performance, this game will keep you hooked from start to finish with its built-in "one more go" death mechanic and a bleak yet gorgeous world to explore. This is a fresh new spin on From's formula that fans and newcomers alike should definitely give a stab.

“Patience pays off, Samurai*“
*Shinobi. Come on, this is important stuff.
Why can't we get something good like that in the UK.
By far my Game of the Year.
I think I'll go back through it and grind for the platinum one day.
@YozenFroghurt
Ah the first level of Bloodborne, like you I had a lot of bother with it.
And then I had a revelation, the whole first level up to and including Father Gascoigne is a huge tutorial level. It introduces pretty much all the mechanics and has brilliant level design.
I urge you to stick with it, it really still is one of the best games on the PS4, and the rest of the game is also magnificently designed and just do rewarding when it clicks.
@Acquiescence It's £29.99 at Smythes for Black Friday
@YozenFroghurt @BarefootBowser. Bloodborne was my first souls game, definitely stick with it, once you pass that opening part the rest of the game is an absolute joy, like you guys i almost gave up on it then something clicked and before i knew it the credits were rolling.
Well done mate!!
Rest of the game is awesome, but the bosses are still relentless, enjoy!
