Developer Infinity Ward promised that today's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1.07 patch would be the game's biggest yet, and boy was it not kidding. An 8.5GB update is available for download on PlayStation 4 right now, adding free new content and some online balance changes.
As a quick recap of yesterday's news, this latest patch adds two new maps and the classic Hardpoint mode to the multiplayer rotation. Shoot House can be experienced through modes such as Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, and Free-For-All, while Krovnik Farmland is exclusive to Ground War.
In terms of changes to the game itself, the notoriously difficult Spec Ops mode sees some love with a variety of tweaks that should make things somewhat easier. Elsewhere, a number of weapons have had their stats and damage output adjusted, while backend fixes should cut down on the number of crashes. Nice support for this game extra maps will be good. First COD I’ve enjoyed for a long time hopefully they don’t bow to all the people moaning and revert the multiplayer back to older settings.
the biggest patch was the first 57gb one that installed most of the game that isn't on the disc.
