German audio specialist Sennheiser has announced a new gaming headset that's compatible with PlayStation 4. The device is wireless, connecting to the console via USB dongle, and it offers up to a whopping 100 hours of battery life from just one charge. If only the DualShock 4 was so efficient.
The GSP 370 will set you back a chunky £169, but the sell is that you're obviously paying for quality. The audio offers "exceptional bass performance and acoustic clarity", while the noise-cancelling microphone is apparently broadcast-worthy.
There's clearly a market for top of the line gaming accessories, and it's pretty interesting to see an established company like Sennheiser attempt to get in on it.

100 hours?! Must weigh a ton!
170 quid when you don't know it will work with ps5 next year is a big ask, even if they are brilliant!
At that price... nope lol
@R1spam pretty sure most headsets from this gen will be fine but still £170 wow that's a lot of money and like most headsets you have to go buy reviews unless u know someone who has it if you are interested in buying one. 170 quid I'd want a demo.
I wonder if Sony will be promoting it over their own Platinum headset... I don't see why not, since they push licensed 3rd party controllers that are better than the DualShock 4.
I got the Arctis Pro with gaming dac. Sound is just as important as visual to me.
@hotukdeals How much did your headphones cost, what company makes them (Arctis Pro) and are they wireless, if you don't mind me asking?
@lyallop
Steel series, I paid £190 when they were on sale they are usually £250. They are not wireless. I wanted the Dac so could not go wireless. Its the Dac that bumps up the price. They do wireless headphones though I would reccomend the brand well made and very comfortable.
Headset from my PS4 box working fine over these years. Hard pass but i'm sure someone would want this.
I've got HyperX Cloud Alpha and PS Platinum (and cracked PS Wireless 2.0) But I don't mind to have those as well 😅
Sennheiser has been in the gaming headset market for years. I’ve been using the Game One for over 4 years now and I love it. Don’t underestimate the quality of sound to immerse you in a game. It’s just as important as your HD 4K screens.
A 100 hours of wireless sounds amazing!
Considering Sennheiser make absolute quality headphones I'd imagine these to be up there too. Unlike my TB wireless headset. Paid 130 for them and the cut out, stutter, disconnect all the time. Should have stuck to my sony 2.0
