If you've yet to jump into Mortal Kombat 11, Warner Bros has you covered. This weekend, the brutal fighting game will have a free trial, allowing you to get a taste of what it has to offer. It runs from 11th to 14th October, giving you four days to get acquainted with the latest instalment in this grisly series.

You'll be able to play the first two chapters of the Story mode and take part in all multiplayer modes with all the characters from the base game. There will also be a "preview" of the Kombat Pack fighters that have been released so far, including the newly added Terminator T-800.

PlayStation Plus is required to play online in this free weekend, but any progress you make will carry over to the full game if you purchase it. If you don't have PS Plus, you can still at least check out the Story mode, which is better than nothing.
