Update: And there it is. Nioh 2 is officially launching in early 2020, the game's new trailer confirms. You can check it out above.
Original story: If you didn't already know, the first few months of 2020 are looking pretty ridiculous for PlayStation 4 owners. Final Fantasy VII Remake. Cyberpunk 2077. Persona 5 Royal. Gods & Monsters. Watch Dogs Legion. Marvel's Avengers. The list goes on and on, and it's only going to get more and more packed by the looks of things.
According to a photograph posted to Reddit, action role-playing sequel Nioh 2 is also going to be arriving on PS4 in "early 2020". The picture shows the game's Tokyo Game Show 2019 booth, which reveals the release window. We imagine that an official announcement will be happening tomorrow, when TGS 2019 begins.
Where the heck are we going to find the time to play all these games? Take bets on what'll be delayed in the comments section below.

And The Last of Us Part 2 in February wink wink
What games are getting delayed time to pick
Aaand the trailer's gone. Did the trailer leak too?
The new yokai bosses seem so freakin' amazing
My wallet is ready.
Man, information is changing fast. Trailer’s gone so we need an update to the update.
Trailer's back! Guess PlayStation put it up early.
Is Nioh worth getting if I’m a fan of spectacle fighters and Dark Souls but generally terrible at Sekiro? I dunno what it is about that one but I find it way harder than the other Soulsborne games.
@nessisonett I like it its so hard the first enemy on Beta took me so long too beat but somehow it kept playing it. Its hard but so good too play and so rewarding too master /learn.
I do wish they’d have English dubs though, sometimes it is hard to read the subtitles when you have to also not die.
I hope they do away with the unnecessary tedious loot system and just focus on the story and the combat.
I'm pre-ordering baby! And if there's a collector's edition I will go for it because I love the first game and can't wait to play the second.
Probably more excited about this than any other game. The gameplay loop and loot system, mixed with FROMSOFT style ideas was a real winner! One of the extremely rare games I’ll probably pre order
@nessisonett it isn’t like sekiro AT ALL. It’s closer to a slightly faster ds3 in terms of combat but is much more ‘gamey’ - with gameplay loops based around randomised loot and leveling up using ‘souls’ much like the souls games.
It doesn’t male you play a certain way like sekiro either
@shyhh each to their own. It I loved managing loot and all the permutations of weapons and weapon abilities
@Flaming_Kaiser @thebakerswife @Arnna Thanks! I've seen it for about £15 and it sounds like something I'd enjoy so looks like I've got a game to play after Horizon.
