For those who have been waiting for a point and click adventure game with an animal cast set in the 1920s starring a gentlemanly giraffe who's also a detective, you're in luck. Lord Winklebottom Investigates is just that, and it's been announced for PlayStation 4.
This crowd-funded indie game looks utterly bananas, but sometimes wacky ideas are the best ones. You'll need to gather clues and talk to a wild bunch of NPCs in order to piece together the mystery surrounding the demise of an axolotl.
There's no firm release date yet, but we'd expect the anthropomorphic adventure to arrive sometime next year. If you want to support the game, you can do so over on its website. What do you think of Lord Winklebottom Investigates? Make some wild accusations in the comments below.

Giraffe fact!
Each giraffe's pattern is unique, like a fingerprint.
Had me sold at Lord Winklebottom!
Well I've heard of the long arm of the law, but this is my first time seeing the long neck of the law.
It's a stretch but I'll put my neck out and buy it on release.
