Many people will be out and about enjoying the sunshine during these long summer days, but Sony wants you indoors, spending all your pocket money on digital goodies. Starting today, the North American PlayStation Store is playing host to a big summer sale, lasting all the way through to 20th August. As usual, there's a wide range of software going cheap, and it's well worth a look.
You can save on heavy hitters like Monster Hunter: World ($24.99), Assassin's Creed Odyssey ($23.99), and Just Cause 4 ($19.79) -- even Team Sonic Racing is down to $29.99. This sale is also great for PSVR owners, with titles like Blood & Truth, Rez Infinite, and PlayStation VR Worlds down in price. Some smaller scale games worth picking up include Dead Cells, Moonlighter, and Trials Rising.
The PlayStation Blog has the full rundown, including a handful of deals on PS3 and Vita titles. Will you be splashing out on anything? Cool off in the comments below.

Meh.... no prices we haven’t seen before. Seikero missing, hasn’t hit 50% off yet. DMCV and RDR2 both still at the same sale price. Uninspired for a “huge” sale.
I’ll pass for now.
I'll probably grab Subnautica and Superhot.
Edit: Wait, is this only for PS Plus members? That's pretty lame if so.
I think I’m alright for now.
Pretty poor most have been a lot cheaper in other sales
Greets, no info wether this sale comes for other regions as well?
salt and sanctuary definitely getting that game.word up son
@playstation1995 salt and sanctuary is really great, and it is pretty challenging also.
Tried to get over to Playstation Store and the whole thing is in "Russian"
?????
Think I'll wait till they figure it out.
@ellsworth004 oh yeah.im down with it.it looks great.ready for the challenge.word up son
@McGuit You sure that your account hasn't been hacked by a Russian?
@Mega-Gazz You won't see that big a sale for Sekiro until the holidays at the earliest.
@doctommaso that’s okay, Borderlands will tide me over till then, since I’ll probably cave and pay full price for it.
@seari84
Don't see how...2 step verification.
@McGuit Cool, just checking. I once logged into UPlay and found that the language of everything had been changed to Russian and the hacker had been playing my copy of Assassin's Creed Origins and had even used my save file.
I'm going to get Metro Redux ,Nier GOTY maybe Disgaea 5 CB and or Tales of Vesperia... Urgh!! The Caligula Effect: Overdose is also on sale!!! Plus, Ass creed is also on sale....
Good thing I have time to think what games I'm getting.
@playstation1995 if you like souls games youll like it probably. Its like 2d dark souls.
@ellsworth004 I know I will like this game.its been on my radar for more than a year.its a rpg game also.defitnetly use to dark souls.so yeah.im down with it.word up son
When you factor in the cost of moving to America, this "sale" sucks a$$.
I think I'll get Megaman Legacy Collection 1 and Dig Dug for an even $10.
I’d given serious thought to Moonlighter and Dead Cells in the past. I’ll probably pick both up during the sale.
@seari84
Talked to Sony and it looks like my PSN store had been changed to Russian and they switched it back. Weird, but seems to be OK now.
Okay I've decided that I'll be getting Megaman Legacy Collection 1, Lords of The Fallen, and Plants Vs Zombies 2: Garden Warfare for a tenner.
Is there any way to look at just the new games added, rather than have to go through the whole lot again?
And for all those games, there's not really anything I want, at least not now. Got Control and Greedfall coming up anyway.
