Waifu of the Wild is what we colloquially named Genshin Impact at Push Square Towers while it was being showcased during Sony's ChinaJoy 2019 livestream. The open world RPG – previously announced for PC and smartphones – has a fairly cookie cutter premise and art style, but looks pretty polished in its announcement trailer embedded above.
The title will be playable at ChinaJoy 2019’s PlayStation booth this week, while a closed beta test was recently held on the PC and smartphone platforms. It's set to release on Western PlayStation 4s at some point in 2020.

You know, jokes aside, this actually looks pretty good gameplay-wise.
Oh isn't this that breath of the wild clone?
Hence why the Subtitle is Waifu of the WIld @KeanuReaves
It looks decent enough! I'll wait for the review from you though first @ShogunRok
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy 3000 words on my favourite waifus followed by a 10/10
This seems pretty good, I’m interested
I didn't understand the subtitle until I saw the graphics that look like a BotW mod. It looks pretty cool, a lot more beat'em all than Zelda but still fun. Also I call dibs on @ShogunRok 's favourite waifu
Looks pretty good!
I wonder if it'll have English dub since from what I've seen online, most people hate Chinese voices... well at least to the anime watchers.
@Rhaoulos Dammit, well now it's a 5/10
All these games are really weird.
actually it was unexpectedly very GOOD!
I hope and Sony buys miHoYo, it is a great Chinese studio and it is very talented even if it makes mobile games, Genshin Impact shows the potential of the miHoYo studio.
Sony buys miHoYo
@ShogunRok I didn't want it to affect the score. I hereby cancel my dibs. Now you are free to give those waifus the score they deserve.
Tales Of The Wild!
If zelda breath of the wild was considered a GOTY by many then Waifu of the Wild is gonna be the game of the decade
@ShogunRok all jokes aside these guys do seem to know how to make great looking games, just watched about their mobile game called honkai impact and that also looks pretty good.
I can definitely see why people compare it to Breath of the Wild, but please... This one actually does it right! I saw a few dungeon gameplay, good stuff. Except for that character swap mechanic, I hope that's gone.
Not familiar with Chinese developed games for the PS4. Is this game gonna have dual-audio?
Deffo BotW/Hyrule Warriors feel about this game.
If only Breath of the Wild was on PS4 Pro level hardware, it'd look so amazing.
This is pretty interesting though, don't think I've ever played a chinese game.
@ArmyofOne I disagree with you. Not every video game is going to be censored on the PS4.
@WanderingBullet Why do you want that dual-audio?
@RawnDawn How would they dub Chinese?
@KeanuReaves What do you mean?
@ArmyofOne if their was anything to be censored it won't be by Sony Not in china
@Custom1991
The game is from China right? So it'll have Chinese voices as you can see from the video and most people hate how they talk for the most part as you can see in the comment section from Chinese anime videos.
Sorry but I just don't understand what you meant. Did you have trouble understanding with what I wrote? I kinda didn't understand what you meant as well.
@RawnDawn No.
@Custom1991 Okay?
@Custom1991 "What do you mean?"

It is a complete copy and paste on most of the mechanics, art style, and just overall look and feel.
Looks sort of like one of those BotW mods people use when emulating the game on PC.
It DOES seem clean and functional, though. Really like the character models. Too bad they opted to crib from BotW so entirely.
It's like they smashed Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and BotW together and I am loving it.
Its still got that hyper-sexualized teenage girl thing going on that’ll frankly make me feel like a perv if I play it. I know its cultural, but that s*** drives me away from lots of games, frankly.
Language please - Quintumply
