There might be a few multiplatform games in the UK's latest top 10, but Nintendo has undeniably taken it this week. The company has four exclusives among the bestsellers, and that's of course including Super Mario Maker 2, which is number one for a second week.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is the best performing PlayStation 4 release as it holds onto second place, with F1 2019 coming in right behind it. Grand Theft Auto V remains in the chart at number six, with Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2 landing in seventh and eighth respectively. Finally, Mortal Kombat 11 finishes off the top 10 in, er, 10th. It seems Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has stooped way down to number 34, while Judgment has left the top 40 altogether.

Less than half of these are even 2019 releases. It’s been a quieter year, respectively speaking.
Ouch judgement outside the top 40 all together guess i'll wait for a price drop then

Nintendo players really only buy Nintendo only games don't they?
@AdamNovice
Wrong i am a nintendo player and whenever theres a multiplat release on nintendo switch i buy it on the switch and no where else.
And when I say PS exclusives aren't doing well, I read all sorts of excuses. See those Nintendo games on there, considering the number of PS4s sold it's quite sad. Sony have quality exclusives but I think they can do more, maybe make more celshaded games to cater for the cartoony fanbase.
Blimey! There's been more Mario games than the amount of times @FullbringIchigo changes avatars.
@TheArt Playstations exclusive are more harder games in general and are aimed at older teens and adults, Nintendos games in the top 10 are all child friendly and have a bigger target audience, so yeah that would explain it
Let's face it, Nintendo games are always at the top because there aren't any other games at Switch, except indies. That's why the Nintendo exclusives have a far greater sale ratio than Sony exclusives.
It's not a bad thing, I'm just saying.
My only AAA games on switch is Mario and Zelda. On ps4 I'm struggling to choose between the dozens of multies and exs.
@ApostateMage nah
that reminds me AVATAR CHANGE TIME!
@theart You are joking right? Sony have had multiple exclusives sell ten million plus copies. And despite @Knightwolf s tastes, most people buy Nintendo consoles just to play Nintendo's games. Whereas PS4 has a huge number of casuals who only play a couple of games a year.
@playstation_king And that's what I think they should be doing, cater for all ages, not that the older generation don't like cartoony looking games. We like'em all.
@AdamNovice Nah you must be joking, why aren't they continuously on the charts? A quick Google search shows most of their exclusives selling better than PS4's. Many casuals buying a PS4 playing a couple of games, and children liking the Switch and whatnot aren't good enough excuses. I say Sony should target every audience, they shouldn't sleep on Nintendo.
@TheArt Playstation exclusives are doing well, they don't have to sell 50 million for example, or be in the top weekly selling all the time. You seem to have a grudge against ps exclusives especially god of war, i assume because of the goty awards it received, you downplay those games every time you can. Also playstation caters to all ages, as you said, a quick Google search you can find games like Knack 1 and 2, gravity rush remastered and 2, ratchet and clank, the last guardian, dreams, little big planet 3, and some upcoming exclusive games like medievil remake and concrete genie, i'm sure i'm missing some of them. Funny how you say casuals which a lot of them buy gta V and red dead redemption 2.
Need help don't really no why but I have so much much back catalogues in games from all ac games from flag to oddesy also fallout 4 gow hzd also have all Tom clancy games sekiro BB ds3 many more but every comment I've read about the witcher and it is only being 7 pounds in my country should I bother with it in 2019 despite just buying metro exodus farcry 5, new dawn so as u see I'm stocked up with all the deals on ps store got a bargain for anthem cough cough lol at 15 pounds as I so badly wanted a new kinda game to play , so having rdr2 which I've not even started same goes for bf1 should I still grab the witcher and is it trully that good as gow is mind blowing with that axe throw and story and hzd is stunning at night time. Farcry is just a blast nothing more but im looking for depth with great story compared to the creeds and I'm stuck to buy the witcher or just leave it be due to all games I own. Or should I buy it and stop everything else apart from finishing gow which I trully love. Any witcher players comments would be great
@Lobbo95 It's AdamNovice who called them casuals not me and good gracious how can I have a grudge against all those exclusives I own and love. I'm just stating facts and not being bias because I've been a longtime PS fan. If Sony isn't tackling certain aspects I'll call them out and yep you're right I like GoW but like many people on this site agree, it's sometimes quite overly praised, I won't say overrated. It's a great game and I still maintain RDR2 is a better package overall.
@TheArt
Well, when you put it that way i get it, and i agree that Red dead redemption 2 is an awesome game too, just a little slow sometimes. Maybe i overreacted or misinterpreted some of your comments.
Sorry if i sounded rude.
