Obsidian Entertainment's sci-fi RPG, The Outer Worlds, got a brand new story trailer during Microsoft's E3 2019 conference. We've embedded it for you above, in case you missed it.
The new trailer gives us a fresh look at some of the characters, environments, and enemies you'll find throughout this intergalactic adventure. Not only that, but the video reveals a release date for the game. The Outer Worlds will arrive on 25th October 2019.

Wait is this coming to PS4??? I thought it was exclusive as a part of them being acquired?
Hoping this is decent, fallout meets mass effect could be a genius move
@ztpayne7 It was already deep into development for PS4 so Microsoft have allowed it to release on previously planned platforms. They wont want to lose out on the money. Psychonauts is still coming too.
I thought Outer Worlds looks really fun
Pillars of Eternity 2 is Also still coming to the ps4 and switch as well

I like the look of this and it is Obsidian so the writing will be pretty decent. This will be bought.
Well it'll die on it's backside then. Do these publishers actually want to sell their games? Wherever possible you DON'T release between October or November cos that's when the biggest games launch and people only have so much money.
I might like this game. But I will probably not buy it as I'll never be able to play sequels. I can't afford multiple consoles, if it comes out to PC then maybe.
@AdamNovice - There are plenty of us who have zero interest in the latest CoD or Death Stranding. A game like this will always find its audience.
@NomNom - The game is releasing on PC, it's a timed Epic Store exclusive on launch though.
