One of the most impressive things about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was the sheer scale of it. The game made you feel like you were part of an enormous fantasy world, which was simply existing all around you. Perhaps the base expectation for Cyberpunk 2077, then, is that it will expand upon that – but how big is it exactly?
Speaking with Game Informer, quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz explained: “We have the six [primary] districts, which also have [sub-districts]. We have the Badlands, which is the area surrounding the city, the outskirts. The city itself is pretty big, but it also has levels. Because there are missions that will lead you to a specific building, and these can be pretty high.”
So the game will have a degree of verticality to it, which makes sense considering its metropolis nature. “The game itself is pretty big, I would say,” Tomaszkiewicz continued. “It's hard to tell right now how long it takes to traverse because we are still in development. But I would say the game is pretty substantial. If you enjoy big open worlds, this is a game for you.”

I'm just expecting so much density. If you go back to the 48 minute gameplay demo, it looks incredibly dense to the point where you can't turn a corner without seeing something that's actually noteworthy. I guess it has to be this way since it's a giant city, but it's still gonna be really impressive if they can pull it off.
@ShogunRok @get2sammyb So which one of you will be Doing the Review?
no busy work please..
Really looking forward to this one
This could be a walking sim and I'd still buy it.
I can feel the hype building inside me now. Although it might just be wind. It's too early in the morning to tell. No, I think it's hype.
@Areus it's going to be @ShogunRok since he made @get2sammyb play witcher 3!! 😉 ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
That release date. If they push it back even just once, it might make more sense to get this on PS5
Next April can't come soon enough. Was gonna get the collectors edition, but then I saw the price. 😲
If you didn't have the car, it would probably take hours to walk across the city. I wonder how many buildings are in the game and how many floors each building has and how much there is to explore on each floor of each building.
I should probably finish the games I have on hold right now before April arrives.
If its not like Assassins Creed with filler stuff im in.
@Areus @Ridwaano I think @get2sammyb would have to kill me if he wanted to review this.
@Ridwaano I like The Witcher 3!
And like most open-world games it will have lots of empty space with not much in it.
I’m really encouraged by the fact that it’s CD Projekt RED that’s crafting this. One thing that consistently amazed me about The Witcher 3 was how narratively unique each quest was, including the side quests. Each situation you became involved in had a unique story. It really made the world, as a whole, feel alive. If Cyberpunk is of the same quality, there’s definitely reason to be excited. It, and DOOM Eternal, are the two games from E3 I feel I can pre-order with confidence.
@get2sammyb yes and the reason is @ShogunRok made 🆈🅾🆄 play it agian if I recall correctly (⊙.⊙)7? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@Bonbonetti Not sure about that this time. The game seems very dense. Every time I see it I feel a bit overwhelmed. Even if it's just an illusion, it's a really convincing one.
@ShogunRok Ok then if you have this then i Guess @get2sammyb Persona 5 Royal Duty lol
