Cyberpunk 2077 PS4

Is Cyberpunk 2077 really a PlayStation 4 title? That's a question that's been asked since the game was first announced years ago, and we've never really been given a concrete answer. It's the kind of thing where only a confirmed release date would clear it up completely.

However, CD Projekt Red has always said that it's aiming for current-gen hardware, and it does indeed look like the game will land on PS4. How do we know this? Well, with E3 just hours away, ads are being plastered around the Los Angeles event, and Cyberpunk 2077 has a particularly eye-catching poster.

Snapped by Geoff Keighley himself, the poster's pretty cool, but it's the fine print at the bottom that's the real meat of this story. If you zoom in on the bottom left, you can clearly see three platforms listed: Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Does this mean that Cyberpunk 2077 isn't a PS5 game after all? Well, not really. Assuming the open world role-playing title launches next year, we can absolutely see it being a cross-gen release, even if the PS4 version arrives months in advance of the PS5's launch.

Did you always expect Cyberpunk 2077 to come to PS4? Do you think it'll get a release date at E3? Go watch the excellent E3 2018 trailer for the hundredth time in the comments section below.
