In CD Projekt RED's previous blockbuster RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you were able to whistle for Roach wherever you happened to be. As if by magic, Geralt's trusty steed would appear, allowing you to gallop across the open world map. Well, there's going to be a very similar system in Cyberpunk 2077.
Speaking with VG247, lead quest designer Pawel Sasko said that you can summon your "main" car and it'll drive to you, thanks to its onboard AI. You can own several vehicles, but the one you mark as your main car or bike will be the one that shows up when you call for it.
“So basically, because those cars are equipped with AI, if you call it, you can see the car driving towards you," Sasko explained. "So you can see when it arrives, basically. You can see as your motorcycle arrives, you can see as your car arrives. So you can just leave it wherever you want, it can go somewhere, just call it, and AI makes it like ‘bzzt!’, he drives by and waits for you.”
This will definitely come in handy while we're exploring Night City; being able to call our super-cool car to us at any point, wherever we left it, means we'll never be short of a ride.

It’s cool when a games lore can explain a convenient gameplay mechanic. I wonder if players will be able to set a waypoint and have the car autopilot you there?

Tesla 2077 I need the Christmas mode program and mini games and GPS on the console screen.
Funnny how those who applaud them for making it 1st ppov and find it better and more immersive have no issue with the vehicle part 3rd ppov. If 1st ppov is so great then the car section should be that way as well.
@Gumbopudding From what we'seen from the gameplay video there seems to be an option for either 1st or 3d person view in vehicle mode.
As long as the car controls better than Roach.
If you name it Roach, it will have a 50% chance to run you over every time you call it.
Very disappointing that flying cars aren't actually drivable....that was one of the things i was most looking forward to...
