Mortal Kombat 11 released yesterday, and it can already be picked up for just $50 at Amazon.com. It's a $10 dollar discount on the price it was sold for just 24 hours ago, representing a bit of a kick in the teeth for those that either pre-ordered the game or picked up a copy on launch day.

While the game may try and haggle you for a bit of cash elsewhere, Warner Brothers has stated that it's attempting to fix the grindy nature of its progression. Nah, Amazon refunded the $10 to me since it dropped within 24 hours of release since I had it PO'd with them. But I get what you're saying about other people.
I'm not surprised. Price drops are crazy nowadays. Most games have a 40% price drop within 2 months. I've seen it on every AAA game in 2018-19 except RDR2.
Do you think this discount will stay long? I want to see Days Gone reviews before I decide which game to get.
Cool got a $10 refund on my premium edition.
Wow, I’m glad I didn’t buy this on release day.
Once my Best Buy Gamer's Club membership expires in October I'm going to seriously have to start reconsidering day one purchases. Don't mind it now because I can save $12 but after that goes, if there's even a chance I could save $10 or more by waiting a few days or a week, I might start doing that.
This is some bs though. Unfortunately I'm not surprised.
Awesome, now it just has to get to 40 and I'll buy.
My back catalog is so big that I only end up playing games about 6 months after release which saves me a tonne of money due to price drops. The only time I buy day 1 is for games I am truly hyped for and get good reviews (GOW, RDR2 etc).
Publishers have shot themselves in the foot. They have been moaning for a while that £60 per game isn't sustainable in this day and age. Filling games with grind and micros.
Well get this publishers - £40 is the new £60.
Gamers aren't Guinea pigs for money making scams.
@themcnoisy Where the hell are you shopping if games are £60? I never pay over £40. I do remember cartridge games being around £60 sometimes, though. Like Super Street Fighter 2 on the Mega Drive being £65, which is the equivalent to over £100 in modern money.
