Gamescom, Europe's biggest annual gaming convention, is returning later this year as expected. However, what we didn't see coming is that it'll have its own announcement show to open the event. Titled Gamescom: Opening Night Live, the show will be streamed, and it'll be hosted by the man himself, Geoff Keighley.
The show promises reveals from major publishers, so you can bet on a few big games putting in an appearance. It'll take place on the 19th August at 19:00 UK time/11:00 Pacific.
Gamescom is usually pretty good for getting additional information on upcoming games -- specifically those that are announced a couple of months earlier at E3 (which takes place in June). This year should be no different, especially taking this opening show into account.

Might finally be more than just the show where E3 leftovers are shown.
Looking forward to it getting more premieres, especially with E3 losing big players like Sony.
