Well, props to Massive Entertainment -- the developer has reportedly managed to fix The Division 2's most frustrating bug. Over the last couple of days, players have stumbled across an issue that basically makes skills unusable. You'd pop out a turret or drone or some other doohickey, and it'd almost immediately disappear. As you'd expect, this handicap meant that some missions would become incredibly difficult since skills are an essential part of your arsenal.
Fortunately, after a brief spell of downtime for maintenance, Massive claims to have solved the problem. It also says that a patch will be deployed later this week that should clean a few things up for good, so that's something to look forward to.
"The team is continuing their work to resolve all the remaining issues on this topic with a future patch later this week. Until then you can try to avoid the talents EXTRA and OVERLAP which seem to be the culprit and can cause skills to act up even after maintenance, albeit still much less often," reads a post on the official forums.

I can confirm that my drone and turret haven't done a single Houdini on me since the maintenance. Big up the Massive massive.
I haven’t tried playing since the update, but the bug was making soloing very difficult. Glad they fixed the issue.
Yea, working fine now, needed it for the dark zones.
Good to know. Looks like I will be picking this up this weekend.
Awesome. Not having my turret was awful.
There's this bug that you get your skill stuck in you hand. Can't use it, change it or use a weapon.
The only way is to get out of this situation is to press the change weapon button.
It's not a big deal, since from the momment o change weapon, everything becomes normal again. But the first time that happened and I didn't knew the solution, well, that was a bummer.
Man, and I here I thought I was doing something wrong with my skill. Good to know it wasn't just me and that it's fixed. Good job on the quick fix, Massive.
