Now this one looks really, really cool. Overland is the latest game from Nights in the Woods publisher Finji, and its a premise that's interesting to say the very least. "Take care of a group of travelers on a post-apocalyptic road-trip across the United States in this turn-based survival game."
Slated for a release on PS4 towards the end of 2019, you'll need to scavenge for supplies, rescue survivors, and make tough choices that are obviously going to have consequences down the line. "Overland is about close calls, dramatic escapes, hard choices, arguing about whether or not that dog gets rescued, and the end of the world."
Will you take up this road-trip across America? Start storing supplies in the comments below.

Ready for you this time, dysentery.
I'm excited about this game. The only question is — will I remember the game when it's close to release date? I hope.
Hmm not much to go on really. Id say the thing that intrigues me the most other than the fact im a sucker for post apocalyptic stuff is that its from the makers of night in the woods which is prob one of my top 5 games ive EVER played in my 29 or so years of gaming
Yeah saw this on the Nindies showcase, definitely keeping an eye on it. Looks great!
PROS: The art style looks great
CONS: Turn based (can't stand those two words), post-apocalyptic (yawn).
For that reason, I'm oot.
Looks great as post-apocalyptic has been done to death the new take and art style look very interesting.
The way the car moves reminds me of....
Post-apocalyptic pat post-apocalyptic pat and his nuclear fallout cat early in the morning pat zips up his hazmat suit and delivers letters to corpses though their doors.
@Luna-Harmony I'm glad I'm not the only one who immediately thought of Postman Pat.
@ApostateMage
It's the way the car moves and style of the game reminds me of old school postman pat. https://youtu.be/1uukgYgflCE
Great video though looks like a fresh take on the post-apocalyptic genre that has been done to death.
Turn-based? Nope, sorry.
Really not a fan of the art style either.
