The success of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is pretty staggering. Releasing at the very end of 2015, the tactical shooter has remained popular ever since, and now boasts over 40 million players across platforms. This is largely thanks to Ubisoft's constant updates and a trickle of new content, keeping the experience fresh even for those who've been playing for three years.

To celebrate the milestone, the publisher has announced that you'll be able to play the game for free this weekend on PlayStation 4. Starting today and ending on Sunday 17th February, you can download and play the full title, and it'll cost you nothing.

You'll probably need PS Plus in order to take part, but it's a good opportunity to dive into the action nonetheless. Will you be playing Rainbow Six: Siege for free this weekend? Plan your moves in the comments below.
