As the epic January Sale draws to a close today on the PlayStation Store, you bet your bottom dollar Sony's already replaced it with a new round of discounts. The Games Under €20 (£16 for us Brits) sale has begun on the European Store, and if you have any cash left over, it's well worth a quick look.
With nearly 100 items in the offer, there's plenty of variety included here. There are some big names like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Batman: Arkham Collection with their prices slashed, while a bunch of indies and smaller titles are going cheap too. Sniper Elite 4, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and The Swords of Ditto are a few highlights, but there's lots more besides.
Check out the PlayStation Blog for the full list of included games. See anything you like? Let us know in the comments below.

Think i will be giving it a miss this time. Kingdom Hearts 3 in a couple of weeks, plus a large backlog means i shouldnt really get anything else atm.
Some good things here, but I'm going to avoid adding anything to my backlog this sale. If I didn't already have Witcher 3 somewhere, then I might have picked that up.
Nice discount on Thronebreaker Witcher Tales. Down to £16. Hard to resist that one.
@LieutenantFatman Nice, been planning on getting that for a while now anyway so will grab that. My backlog is never going to clear.

Same here, so many excellent games to get round to, Sony will have to do something really special to convince me to get a PS5 on day one. Backwards compatible would be a strong start!
There's pretty much always a good sale going on PSN. It's crazy.
PC sales overall are still better, but PS4 has really evened out the difference between the two when it comes to the frequency of sales.
@LieutenantFatman Horizon Zero Dawn sequel at launch would convince me to get one day one. I'm hoping it's launch is still a long way off, I don't want to carry a large backlog onto a new console.
Think I only had 1 or 2 when I switched to the PS4 at launch and that was handy as it can be slow for games in the first 6 months or so.
@Kidfried I never go for shady key re-sellers, and games are frequently on sale for much cheaper on PC than on PS4. I've accumulated thousands of dollars of really high-quality indie games via humble bundle for... probably less than $100 overall. Steam sales aren't quite as good as they used to be, but they still match or exceed discounts seen on PSN, and that's without an expensive subscription as well.
Speaking of expensive subscriptions, humble bundle has one that's about twice as expensive as PS+, but which comes with way higher-profile AAA games that you can keep forever and that often comes with promotions, such as giving you $20+ in humble store credit for subbing for a year.
There are other storefronts, too. I think I recently mentioned on here that I managed to prepurchase Resident Evil 2 for just a little under $45 via GMG, which is way less than it's available for on PS4 before launch (at least in NA). And this sort of steep 20 - 25% discount on preordered PC games is nothing new.
PS4 absolutely has a lower entry fee, given that the hardware is cheaper overall, but if you buy a lot of games at or near launch, or play a lot of indies, that investment evens out over time, and even tips in favor of PC.
With that said, PS4's surprisingly steep digital sales are definitely impressive for a home console that isn't competing with other digital storefronts.
Nothing tickling my fancy here, although I did buy a shedload of games in the PSN January Sale so probably for the best !!
Waiting till Feb to checkout basket, but definitely picking up Hellblade for £12.99 as I've been wanting that for ages! Might also pick up Outcast, Fe and AER. Will likely message my brother about Thronebreaker discount, as he's one of the many who got obsessed with playing every NPC at Gwent in Witcher 3.
Plenty of variety in genres, if not in platforms. Good thing there's always the "all discounts" tab - clicking the specialized ones grows less and less likely to inform how many platforms Sony even has on PSN. XD
While it would be entitled to demand sales, I just really hope this trend won't spread to the very presence of other games in question in a few years when PS5 shows up. And in Russian Store, certain stuff like most "PS One Classics" are already becoming harder to track even through website search - unless they go on sale. ¯(ツ)/¯
Some offers are appealing, but I’ve not spent any money on games for about three months.
I’m now just clearing my backlog and enjoying some great games and feeling a sense of fulfilment as I tick games off my list and reduce the number. The only way it increases is through PS Plus.
Also, the games that I haven’t bought will be cheaper when I’m ready for them. And there will no doubt be a sale as there always is on PSN.
I'll get that Capcom Arcade Bundle when it hits the 10€ mark...one day. Still playing Christmas games
Finally I’ve bought Ys VIII.... 😁😁😁
