We've had our eye on A Plague Tale: Innocence for a while, as it looks like a fairly promising survival/adventure title from Focus Home Interactive. Playing as Amicia, a young girl accompanied by her little brother Hugo, you must survive in 14th century France at a time rife with war and disease. Hordes of bloodthirsty rats carry the Black Death, and the two orphans are forced to navigate this bleak world and try to stay alive.
While it's all quite dark, it's an interesting setting for a game that will hopefully make for some great moments in its story. We're looking forward to finding out, anyway, and the release isn't too far away. The game launches on 14th May 2019.
To accompany this news, the publisher has released the first in a series of developer diaries, with the first focusing on the two main characters. It's worth a watch if you're interested in the game, as not only do you learn a little more about the protagonists, you'll also see glimpses of new footage. Are you looking forward to A Plague Tale: Innocence? Don't let the rats get you in the comments below.

Beautiful in so many ways. If the public saw more ads for this type of games, they'd realize that video games can be real works of art.
This does look pretty good. I really hope it reviews well enough.
i like smaller titles like this.
the fact that it takes place in a historical setting is even more great.
i also liked vampyr despite reviews being just "average" so i should like this game even when it doesn't score all that high.
It will take pretty bad review scores for me to not pick this up
I hope this is releasing physically. I've yet to find anything about physical copies on the internet.
Wow,... I'll buy it just to support their efforts in making this.
Day one any idea is this a digital only release?
Yeah, I've had this on my wishlist for quite a while. I'm looking forward to it.
@Flaming_Kaiser Looks like a digital only title.
This looks really good, i’m surprised nobody else is talking about this game.
This is the first I'm seeing of this. My interest has peaked.
