The enthusiasm for Astro Bot Rescue Mission may have pushed you over the edge and convinced you to purchase PlayStation VR, but what’s the best bundle to buy? Well if you really want some platforming joy to go along with your new investment, there’s a new package featuring a headset, PlayStation Camera, and two games: Japan Studio’s aforementioned critical darling and the equally delightful Moss.

The bundle will set you back $299.96, so you’re basically getting the two games free. It’s obviously still a significant investment, but it’s well worth it in our opinion. You can find out more about the best PSVR games through the link.

I would love to play Astro Bot, but PSVR is a little too expensive for me. I've never tried VR before, so I wouldn't even know if I'd like it. Maybe Dreams can convince me, but I think I'd prefer a set of Move controllers for that game.
Moss has a lovely box art by the way!

@Octane If you can get a chance to try it, definitely do.
Argos has a fantastic deal on at the moment. PSVR V2 Headset + 2 Move Controllers + One Game = £229!
So good that my wife has brought it and put it away for Xmas for me! At that price, who could resist?
@get2sammyb Yeah, I'd love to. I'm not aware of any stores that have a demo unit set up, nor do I know anyone with a PSVR head set. So a headset, and camera, for a handful of games, it's a big risk. I'm hoping for a price drop and/or a good bundle, if not this year, maybe next year. It's a big investment, so it's a tough sell.
@Octane Expect good Black Friday deals. I bought my PSVR headset, camera, and GT Sport for $199 earlier this year. Though I do think part of that price was them clearing out the original model headsets when these launched. PS4 is old, PS4 Pro is getting old, we all know PS5 is coming eventually, PSVR could see some good sales as Sony tries to ramp up VR interest as a replacement for it's handheld division. $300 for this doens't strike me as a "good deal" so much as a nice starting price. Nobody should buy anything in October with November so close.
@rjejr What's the difference between the old one and the new one? If it's PSVR, the camera, and this game for €199, I could see myself nabbing one. I'm definitely waiting for the November sales, but do keep in mind that Black Friday isn't really a thing over here, most stores offer deals around that time, but it's not as big as it is in the USA.
@ZeD that is a very good deal, i paid £310 for 2 move controllers, ps worlds bundle and super hot which wasn't a very good deal at the time tbh, i didn't even like super hot it was rubbish, sold it in and got moss and skyrim VR instead so it worked out in the end.
you have a long wait to open and play it mind you lol but enjoy regardless.
@Octane psvr version 1 has the volume controls and headphones built outside the headset and a older version of the processor for the tv, while psvr version 2 which is the one i have has it built into the headset and the processor has it all built into one and it has hdr support supposedly so it's kinda a big deal to go for the v2 headset.

@Octane The difference between the old one and the new one was minor, maybe the way the cables connected, but I think the breakout box allows for pass thru HDR which the old one does not.
Here, I'll let Sammy tell you in his own words. Dotn' forget to like the video.
Even if you dont' have BF sales surely you must have some holiday sales worth waiting for. Whenever Boxing Day is.
@rjejr @huyi Cheers!
@rjejr I'd argue that even boxing day isn't as big over here as it is in some other countries. When I hear stories of people getting a console with games as their Christmas present, I'd be happy if I got a €30 shovelware game (well, this was before the euro as a currency existed, but you get my point )
@JoeBlogs I can tell you from personal experience, VR is best played in small bursts for beginners. Play a game like Resident Evil 7 in VR until you can handle it, then you can play 95% of VR games without getting sick.
This bundle is perfect for me, I really want to play both games.
@huyi i have red dead redemption 2 to keep me busy soon. Plus gives me time to pick some deals on vr games 😊
@ZeD i'm still keeping a eye on any VR games on psn sales, no such luck yet. have fun with red dead 2.
