The world of live streaming hits some incredible highs, but also manages to reach crazy lows. We're not quite sure where the above stream sits on the scale, but one thing we can say with certainty is that people are very excited for Red Dead Redemption 2.
This Australian streamer is broadcasting the pre-order countdown timer for Rockstar's latest open world epic, and what's more, hundreds of people are watching. It's perhaps the most sedate gaming live stream possible, yet plenty of folks are happily tuning in and shooting the breeze while the streamer waits for midnight local time. Fair enough?
We're only teasing, of course -- having hundreds of viewers for a stream isn't out of the ordinary. However, that normally applies to gameplay, not a countdown timer. We at least share the hype with these people, so more power to them.

Could have been viewers bots.
Consider it a chat room for Red Dead 2, that evetually results in seeing its gameplay. For fans that can't get it right away, or want to check it out, all whilst talking about the game with fellow fans. It's not weird to me at all.
