Sony’s already announced a PlayStation 4 Pro bundle for Kingdom Hearts III, but why not double down with a PS4 Slim as well? Due out in Japan alongside the game on 25th January in the region, the console sports a golden patchwork pattern featuring various symbols from the series, as well as an emblem in the centre. It comes with all the usual accessories you’d expect, and will be available in 500GB and 1TB variants. Weirdly, the actual game is sold separately.
There are currently no plans to bring this to the West, and honestly we wouldn’t recommend you hold your breath. Still, should you want to snag it, you’ll be paying ¥33,980 (~$300) for the 500GB variant and ¥38,980 (~$350) for the 1TB edition. Pre-orders are open now on the Sony Store.

I don't understand why special editions aren't only made with PS4 Pro.
Hopefully one or the other is available in the states .
Yet another gorgeous thing from a franchise I have zero interest in. No fair, Sony! No fair!
I'd have been tempted to grab this if it came with KH3 and I hadn't had just bought myself a Spider-Man PS4 Pro with both the Spider-Man game AND Season Pass included.

@KidBoruto Oh, don't get me wrong, I think it's something I could like (especially since my partner's a big Disney fan) but I missed the first game and have waited too long, and now the series has become incredibly complex, with multiple versions of each game across half a dozen systems. I just don't have the time to be able to start from the beginning and get into it now, alas.
@RogerRoger All you need is a PS4 to play all of the games silly.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX has playable KH1, KH2, Birth by Sleep, Re: CoM, and also watchable 358/2 Days and Re: Coded cutscenes.
Also Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which has playable Dream Drop Distance and Birth by Sleep 0.2: A Fragmentary Passage, and also the Back Cover movie.
Those two collections (which frequently go on sale for $20 new each) are all you need to catch up on the series.

In all seriousness, thanks for the tip. I still don't know where I'll find the time to play through them all, but if I see them going cheap, I may grab them safe in the knowledge that I'm not missing any bits and pieces.
