Just like Rise of the Tomb Raider, the forthcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider starts with a flashback, as Lara Croft and her forever friend-zoned accomplice Jonah crash-land into a Mayan temple. The game then gets underway proper, with all of the pickaxe platforming that you’d expect from the franchise in 2018.
We must admit, this is looking very familiar: everything from the loading screens to the tool tips are identical to the previous game. The pair do end up at a kind of Mexican festival, and that’s something new for the series if you squint, as the last two entries were generally quite isolated affairs. Of course this one is going to have the largest hub in series history.

I cant wait for this
I think it looks great. In fact, it's looking more and more like Uncharted, even in the cutscenes. It's just a shame that there isn't a 'mute Camilla' button.
can't wait to get my hands on this!!
