Keighley and Kojima sitting in a tree, we probably can't finish this joke for legal reasons. The game industry's deadliest duo is back are back in the headlines after Geoff Keighley posted a picture of Hideo Kojima on Twitter, as the daddy of Metal Gear stood next to a screen with The Game Awards logo on it.
For those totally out of the loop, Keighley's the guy who heads up the aforementioned annual awards event, and we imagine that he'll be in the latter stages of planning out this year's show.
So, does this mean that we can expect to see more of Death Stranding at The Game Awards 2018? We sure hope so.

Unpopular opinion: I don't mind all the Death Stranding trailers!
@Kidfried I've seen enough to know that the world of Death Stranding is an interesting one, and one I'd want to explore. If that means I'll be delivering parcels for 50 hours, so be it!
I hope we can see the gameplay, I though we're going to see that at e3 2018.
@wiiware There was plenty of gameplay in the E3 trailer!
@Kidfried We've seen a gun, so it's easy to assume shooting will be part of the game, and I think we've all seen enough shooting games to imagine what that will look like.
I wish they won't, they should be showing this stuff at PSX instead. It's why I don't like it when Sony has it on the same week as the game awards cos half of the cool stuff that gets announced gets shown there. The game awards should just be an awards show.
@adf86 If it was just awards, nobody would watch it
Cool. I'm always up for another ParcelSim 2022 trailer..
@Octane Then they shouldn't bother at all then, just have a hour long end of year show instead. I've said before that the Oscars don't show trailers for upcoming blockbusters to justify itself and I don't think games should either.
Unless its someone sitting down, controller in hand, showing actual gameplay I just cant bring myself to be excited about this news. Enough with the weird trailers and ambiance building, show us that its an actual video game thats interesting!
@adf86 Maybe something they could do is have separate trailers showing different things, one at TGA and another at PSX, maybe have them building off of each other. Wishful thinking yeah, but a good enough compromise I think.
@Octane I mean real gameplay, not just walking around like that
I rather see cool trailer rather than gameplay but only consist of people walking around.
It'll show up and somehow we'll know even less about the game!
Traipsing along an eerie landscape lugging a huge pack on your back? Looks like a more realistic No Man's Sky.
You already know who's winning boys!! "Agony" as best game of the year!
Release trailer. Coming 2020.
Next Gen PS announced at PSX.
I'm putting money on it.
