E3 2018: Lara Croft Steps Out of the Shadow of the Tomb Raider

We’ve been seeing drips and drabs of Shadow of the Tomb Raider for some time now, but Square Enix just gave the PlayStation 4 sequel its first proper demonstration at its E3 2018 press conference. The showcase started with a cut-scene from the beginning of the game, before transitioning into gameplay.

It looks like a new Tomb Raider game for sure, with bow-and-arrow combat, stealth action, and a tropical backdrop. Are you looking forward to this one?

Already have this preordered and the showcase of gameplay did not disappoint. Lara looks like a proper ninja now. Almost as agile as Aloy. Looks like it will be a lot of fun to play.

Loved the previous two, my only concern was it being developed by a different studio. Having now seen gameplay I'm excited to get this. Just started looking at pre-orders and noticed on Square Enix site that it describes the game as Single-player, co-op???

Loved the stealth gameplay. Hopefully they’ll show some guns blazing action to match the same quality next

I never finished the first game and by the time Rise came to PS4 I had other games I was busy with.

I always loved the jungle settings in Tomb Raider (see: TR1, TR3, TR Legend, TR Underworld) so this is a big return to form IMHO.

I need to make time and finish RotTR...my wife wanted me to save it so we could play through it together, but I think after 1-1/2 years of waiting I'll just play it by myself LOL.
