With many other titles in the FPS space ditching the route of a paid Season Pass to access post-launch DLC, it was thought that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 may go along with this trend too. However, this isn't to be the case, as the official Call of Duty Twitter account has tweeted out details of a Digital Deluxe Edition that comes packaged with a Black Ops Pass.
The pass will come with 12 multiplayer maps, four new zombie experiences, and four exclusive Blackout characters.

Awful, I'm glad that I'm not a COD fan, because I would be so mad. They already cut campaign, and now the full game is going to cost even more? If you're going to play battle Royale, why not just play one of the many other ones out there? All of which provide FREE updates.
My best friend only plays COD, so I should probably share this article with them.

If this sells as well as last years COD, then this brand is close to fireproof.
Have to admit that with Battlefield V ditching the season pass I thought CoD might follow suit. Then again, Activision would rather you sell one of your organs to pay for the SP than actually try and keep their online community all together.
Season passes are a joke. Aside from when each pack initially launches, the maps quickly fall out of rotation in multiplayer, and then all it does it take up space on your harddrive.
Literally... Pass.
Honestly I don't mind season passes that much. For a game like CoD I think it serves a purpose anyway. Of course you can always say it's too expensive/they should be free but value will be down to the individual in that case.
Used to defend cod like crazy but my god am i glad I gave up on it a couple years back
Still not convinced by the 'new' CoD. It could be the first I haven't bought since CoD4. Its almost certainly the first since MW2 that I won't be buying the 'Prestige' edition.

@kyleforrester87 Still defending this. They strip the game to the base with no campaing. A Battle Royale mode which basically is a free all with no respawn. 3 Zombiemaps, 12 maps which has 4 remasterd maps plus Battle Royale and still a seasonpass. WOW just WOW no wonder these companies try to go further every time. 🤨🙄😕
