Yoku's Island Express is a bit of an oddball concept, but there's no denying its whimsical charm. Team 17's latest game has you playing as the titular bug, delivering mail across Mokumana Island and bouncing around through pinball-esque platforming environments.
The brand new trailer, embedded above, goes into the game's overarching story, which tells of a mysterious egg at the heart of the island, hidden away from the evil God Slayer. It's all very cute, with a tone very similar to that of LocoRoco. The curious release is also up for digital pre-order starting today ahead of its release on 29th May. A physical edition of the game will also be made available on 15th June for Europe and 19th June for North America.

I'm actually looking forward to this game. Hoping that the price is $40 or less though, because it still doesn't look like a $60 title. May actually even double dip and purchase it for the Switch too...depending on how much I actually get into it! But, the Spyro Trilogy, Sega Genesis Classics, Harvest Moon and Jurassic World Evolution games are coming out too, so it's a possible of getting this.
