You’ll be able to celebrate Roland Garros with a round of virtual tennis this year, as Bigben Interactive has announced that Tennis World Tour will target the PlayStation 4’s baseline from 22nd May. That’s days prior to the French Open getting underway, and a couple of months ahead of Wimbledon as well. Perfect timing.
The boxart varies around the world, but everyone gets Roger Federer on the front. In the UK, the Swiss superstar will share the stage with Angelique Kerber and Stan Wawrinka, while the US gets John Isner [We think? – Ed] and Madison Keys. There are various other differences around the world; France gets Gael Monfils, for example.
After the disappointment of AO Tennis (which still isn’t available outside of Australia), we’re really hoping that new developer Breakpoint Studios can hit the heights of the fantastic Top Spin 4. The gameplay has looked a little sluggish from what we’ve seen thus far, but the studio’s had over six months to polish things up since we last got a look.

It's a toss up between this or Mario Tennis Aces for me
All over this. Loved top spin back in the day. Some of the TS team are working on this so I'm in.
I'm so hyped for this game. It's the main reason I will purchase a PS4 Pro.
I heard Sammy is a legend of topspin 4. I challenge you on this game if u have what it takes
If it gives me as much joy as Pete Sampras Tennis on the Megadrive, i'll be a very happy bunny
@fabisputza00 Challenge accepted.
I'm excited, I haven't played a tennis game since Virtua Tennis 4 and Top Spin 4, and that was 7 years ago. From what I've seen of Tennis World Tour it looks to be a good game.
To be fair since the updates on AO tennis it is such a better game than at release. Reall enjoy it on the hardest level. Just needs more work. They are constantly updating, so by the time it hits europe AO tennis will be good.
Defo looking forward to this one though, top spin 4 still the best. I did enjoy grandslam tennis 2....is that weird?
