Alongside the game's release date, Rockstar has posted a bunch of brand new Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots -- and they look fantastic. Some show off detailed character models, while others give us a glimpse of the title's various environments. The lighting looks great across all of them.
The pics show a few things that are worth noting, too. The one with main character Arthur Morgan dual wielding revolvers seems to showcase some level of destruction -- check out all that splintering wood in the background. It's also clear that the title will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and provide us with some amazing sunsets.

It will be like a Marlboro ad, the pictures are impressive.
It looks to be just as good as Uncharted if these screens are to be believed.

I should probably play the first one, see what all the fuss is about! Shame there isn't a remaster of it on PS4 like there is for GTA V, that would be sweet

Jumping from the first one to this would've overloaded my fuzzy little brain.
The original is by no means an ugly game, not for the generation in which it was released, but the landscape "wow" moments are few and far between. Here's hoping for sunsets and starfields dialled up to eleven.
Can it really run smoothly on PS4? Because this looks better than Horizon Zero Dawn! Granted, Rockstar takes many years but always deliver high quality games that happen to be extremely profitable. Either way, I gotta play this one!!
Looks beautiful but I think sunset at Sandy Shores and Mount Chilliad in GTAV still looks beautiful.

The screenshots look awesome. Man, if it can play as well as it looks we’re in for a treat. Red Dead Redemption actually looked pretty average, but it was such a great game imo. It had some of the ugliest characters in video games 😆
Looks gre8 but tbh a lot of current games do and come on its rockstar it will look good but let's hope the story and characters are as good as it looks.
I liked revolver from what i remember but found redemption repetitive and did not finish it. Hope redemption 2 gets its hooks into me in a better way. Rockstar games remain a must buy in any case to make sure you don't feel your missing out.
I'll be booking the whole autumn off work and ordering a kilo of chewing tobacco. Just need to remember where I put my spittoon...
