Some sweet, sweet news for fans of old school Japanese role-playing games: Square Enix is bringing Romancing SaGA 2 to the PlayStation 4 next week as a fully enhanced remaster.

The original game launched all the way back in 1993 for the SNES. Since then, it's been released on a bunch of Nintendo systems such as the Wii U and the 3DS. It was also ported to the PS Vita last year, but only in Japan.

And now, the classic's heading to the PS4 and the Vita here in the West. It arrives on the 15th December.

The remaster features a slew of additions, including a new dungeon, new classes, some sort of new gameplay system, a new scenario, and a new game plus mode. Sounds good.
