We won't beat around the bush: we totally forgot that this game even existed. Fortunately, Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier's launch trailer has been brought to our attention, and it turns out that the narrative-based title releases today on PlayStation 4.
Last Frontier is part of Sony's PlayLink lineup, meaning that you're able to play it using a smartphone or tablet. It promises "morally and ethically challenging choices", so you can expect a Telltale-esque experience. Will it live up to the other interactive stories on PS4? We'll have to find out.
Are you buying Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier? Don't act like an ape in the comments section below.

Playlink = non compatible with ps4 controller? Please please let me be able to play this,being a monkey is what I'm good at.
Oh its a "Play-Link" thing. Oh well, more money for games in the sale
@gmxs @Lumine @Wazeddie22 I'm pretty sure you can play this one with a controller as well.
I'm actually quite interested in giving this one a go. It's definitely been under-the-radar, but it looks decent.
If it's a Telltale-ish game about talking monkeys I'll probably give it a go as long as it's not too heavy on the mess around with your mobile phone stuff.
So is this like Hidden Agenda where it is recommended to be six players or very rich with no friends and have six smartphones/tablets where you pretend to be six people with different opinions?
@get2sammyb ok cool.If it turns out you are wrong I will demand a refund from you
Meh would prefer a real open world game with Cesar killing everyone with AKs and stuff <3
monkey romance?
I'm well up for this. Word of caution for anyone thinking of buying this. There's a "Team Ape Bundle" on the store that's 4 quid dearer than just the game itself. Apparently this is no different to the game on its own, just this one has a soundtrack and a few PSN avatars - hardly worth £4 unless you're absolutely bananas about soundtracks.
it will drive you cocnuts
Can the game be played solo?
@roe: "... unless you're bananas about the soundtrack... "
(-w-) I see what you did there. Bravo
There's a distinct lack of puns in this comments section. I'll be honest, I expected more monkey business from the PushSquare community....
The movie didn't garner as much attention as it should of.
@Sleexus Thanks for the laugh, man. I'm at work and somehow managed to spill my tea.
@hadlee73 nice 1
