Cutesy ex-Xbox One exclusive puzzle platformer Max: The Curse of Brotherhood will pull out its pens and draw a path to the PlayStation 4 on 10th November, publisher Wired Productions has announced. The game will be available both physically and digitally, with the PlayStation Store version dropping a couple of days earlier on the 8th November.
The fairy tale-esque foray sees you take control of the titular Max on a jaunt to save his sibling: “When Max wishes for his annoying little brother to be whisked away he gets more than he bargained for. Armed with only his trusty Magic Marker, Max must journey to a hostile and unforgiving world to rescue his kidnapped kid brother, Felix.”
This game was fairly well-received on the Xbox One a few years back, so should make for a welcome (if, admittedly, belated) adventure on Sony’s system.

Isn't this that Xbox Exclusive that flopped harder then i Did today on my exam.
@Hapuc I think it did okay. Reviews were fine: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/max-the-curse-of-brotherhood
Hopefully Sunset Overdrive follows suit, insomniac say they need a publisher. Get on it Sony.
@Hapuc if I remember it reviewed pretty strongly, but it didnt do the business that microsfoft hoped and they shut down the studio.
@adf86 come on Sony make it happen.I believe it Will happen.after ps4 Spiderman is realease first.word up son
@playstation1995 Don't worry, already sent the word out to Yoshida, Layden and Co. Yesterday on twitter
@Rob_230 @get2sammyb
Not bad not bad,average but I think it flopped financially like rob said.
it's not a bad game tbh.
@adf86 Just posted an article, thanks for the heads up!
Xbox One exclusive???
There is no such thing anymore. xD
@playstation1995 Don't forget about Ratchet & Clank.
Word up my son.
console exclusive
I've never seen a platform with as few exclusives as the Xbox One. Even the PS Vita has more exclusives, and that's after 90% of its previous exclusives were ported to more successful platforms.
@PS_Nation yes easily my top 10 favorite franchise ever.word up son
@Ralizah Games also released on PC should not be considered exclusives, therefore Xbox One has few exclusives and their future games will also be available on PC.
A platform without exclusives is pointless. Sony has exclusives, Nintendo has exclusives, PC has exclusives, only Xbone doesn't have.
Cute game, I'll prob play it eventually when it's $5-$10 New.
@PS_Nation If people are only interested in consoles and not PC then the Xbox One X will be the go to console to play 3rd party games at their best and since it has the majority of releases, it isn’t really a pointless platform really is it? I’ll get a PS4 Pro for a few exclusives that are worthy system sellers but tbh it only has so many I’m interested in so it won’t be getting that much use.
@MaccaMUFC The majority of releases? That's not true, many Japanese developers are simply ignoring Xbone, even indie developers are not interested on the device, games like Rocket League took one year to be released there, for crying out loud.
@PS_Nation I meant majority of releases as in 3rd party games, AC: Origins, Wolfenstein 2, THW 2 etc. all which are specifically enhanced for Xbox One X so that they play and perform better than any other console, including the PS4 Pro. Also I don’t care for Japanese developers, most of their games have their own weird and wacky style that most of us westerners don’t get.
@MaccaMUFC If you don't care about Japanese game, well, that's on you. You're so wrong if you think that westerners don't care about Japanese games, that's fake news.
If you still don't believe me, check the sale numbers for games like Persona 5, Bloodborne, Nier, Nioh, Breath of the Wild, Final Fantasy games, Sony exclusives, Nintendo exclusives, and goes on. I mean, do i really need to mention all the famous Japanese games, sheesh...
Edit: I saw your comments, well, there is no point to discuss with a Xbox fanboy. I just don't know what are you doing here on a site about Playstation...
@PS_Nation Actually there is two Japanese developers I like, Capcom and Square Enix since they are only ones I know that mainly cater to western audiences. Yes Neir and Nioh are popular with some westerners but not as much as it is in Japan or with games from Capcom like the Dead Rising series and Square Enix with Hitman, Deus Ex and Tomb Raider.
I just checked on some of my past comments, just because I mention Xbox and MS doesn’t make me a fan boy. There’s even articles sometimes on this very site mentioning Xbox and MS on what games are performing better and what exclusive rights it has for certain games. So it’s not just all about PlayStation and it’s exclusives but also about it’s competitors and 3rd party games, that’s why I’m on this site as well as being interested in both PS4 and some of its exclusives and get on fine with people here despite being a sole Xbox owner. I’ve said my piece and been on this site long enough to know Sammy and Rob will be sick of us derailing this thread so let’s say no more 🙂
