The new game from the team behind DriveClub – which was folded into Codemasters, you may recall – is named Onrush and it’s coming to the PlayStation 4 next year. This looks like a kind of MotorStorm and Trackmania mash-up, featuring the toy-ish circuits of the latter and the multi-disciplined arcade racing of the former. Potential is high.

Reminds me of Burnout for some reason
DriveStorm!
All I could think during the reveal was: "why did Sony let these guys go?"
Welcome back Evo, so glad Sony at least allowed the devs gain employment at Codies.
@Gatalog there was only about 50 left at the studio to make DLC and after they were done they probably had the choice to either close them or employe more people to make a new game. But I suspect that Driveclub didn't generate a profit due the year long delay, servers issues at launch and the fact the game was quickly discounted along with it's season pass. And this came off the back of the last 3 Motorstorm games not doing an awful lot business wise. Like I say though at least they got jobs at Codemaster.
@Gatatog There games all bombed somehow.
This is one of those trailers that's so flashy I don't know what to actually expect of the final product. Still, I am interested in anything that smells like Trackmania.
oh yeah it looks like motostorm.easily best PlayStation racing game.word up son
Hope it looks as good as the trailer.
Woohoo
the first motorstorm sold about 4m, though i guess a lot of those were in PS3 bundles, and the other two sold way less. apocalypse only sold about 500K, which was a shame, as it's the one racing game i liked on PS3. i think it was supposed to be released then got pulled because of the tsunami in japan, then released about a month later just before psn went down for 4 weeks.. this looked like a successor to motorstorm in some ways, though if evolution studios had still been a first party studio, i don't think sony would have signed off on this. being on 3 platforms, it might do ok saleswise.
@adf86 I wouldn't be surprised if Sony would licenses and pay Codemasters to make a Driveclub sequel, I mean the Dirt franchise sold pretty good and they have a good history with Racing games.I'm pretty sure they could work something out
Driveclub in spite of the problems it had was a fairly good game
Oh nice, I love Motorsports
Finally, a bombastic, fast, chaotic arcade racer! I think MotorStorm meets Trackmania is a pretty good summary at this point. Really excited for this one
@AzlanWake13 I agree totally, though I think Sony are perfectly happy with GT as their exclusive racer and having codies multiplatfom ones.
from the team behind DriveClub? or from the team behind Burnout?, jijiji, just kidding, however, really, well, from what I saw in the video, really looks as a "Rally" Burnout, well, to check more of this game.
60 fps please
