Popular city builder Cities: Skylines launched on PlayStation 4 back in August, and alongside the release of its first expansion next month, a season pass and a complete edition of the game will be made available. You can get a look at the title's weather-based add on in the video that we've embedded above.
The Snowfall expansion won't be the only additional content coming to the game, though, as evidenced by the announcement of the aforementioned season pass. Including Snowfall, a total of six downloadable content packs are in the works.
Here's what's in store if you nab the season pass, which releases on the 14th November:
- Snowfall (full expansion)
- Natural Disasters (full expansion)
- Mass Transit (full expansion)
- High Tech Buildings (content creator pack)
- Art Deco (content creator pack)
- Relaxation Station (radio station DLC)
As for the complete edition, or, as it's called here, the Premium Edition, that'll include both the base game and the season pass. The full package will set you back £59.99, while the season pass alone will be priced at £29.99.

It's what put me off tropico 5, rip off. Pass. I'll get a bargain bin copy instead.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi This is it, isn't it? We all know this Premium Edition will be £10 in a PSN sale at some point down the line.
Bit annoyed. Guess that's why the digital base game was on sale through PSN a couple of weeks back. I haven't wasted any money (saved £5 if I add the price of the season pass), but would have waited for the complete edition through retail. First world problem, but still peeved so whatever...
At this point I would wait for the inevitable complete edition, and I mean a real one, not the one with a season pass.
Wow, people complain about anything now!
For the longest time the complaint was about these companies announcing their dlc and season pass before the game is out but now we have a studio supporting their game with extra content months after launch and only just announcing their plans, yet they still get chastised. 😔
This is just bringing the content released since launch on the PC over to the PS4, £20 would have seemed more reasonable, but it is hardly worth the levels of scorn that microtransactions should get. In the grand scheme of things it seems pretty reasonable.
The dlc isn't even worth it people I have it on steam PC and everyone one there discussion forums says they are not worth full price. The After dark expansion only adds houses with lighting etc the actual night time environment is free. Then snow expansion just adds snow that's mainly it I wait for them to seop in price first really game is great but the expansions are over priced.
