Nioh's third and final expansion hits PlayStation 4 later this month, publisher Koei Tecmo has revealed. Taking place after the events of the previous slice of downloadable content, Defiant Honor, this upcoming adventure, aptly titled Bloodshed's End, will mark the end of protagonist William's Japanese journey.
As with the last two expansions, this one will feature new enemies, new characters, a new story, and, of course, new weapons and armour. It launches on the 26th September, and comes as part of the game's season pass. You'll also be able to nab it separately for around $10.
Now that Nioh's post-launch support is coming to an end, we reckon it's only a matter of time until a complete edition hits the market. At a guess, keep an eye out for that either before the holidays or early next year.

yes.now the game of the year is next
Ive had this game for awhile and just recently started playing it and now I can't stop playing it. Very good, deep game. Pretty tough at times also.
game of the year edition is next yes😄
Whilst FFXV season pass was the first I ever purchased, NiOh's was the first I took advantage of. I rarely go back to games, but NiOh keeps pulling me back in.
Can't wait to see how it ends...I'm coming for you!
Playing this currently (I typically buy games 6 months after release to save money).
I am LOVING it. I think it's my favourite PS4 game so far. Way better than Bloodborne in my opinion.
I don't usually buy dlc though.
Yep, waiting for the complete edition.
@ellsworth004 I still have to play The Surge, but only because I can't find a copy for less then € 50... Is it as good as Nioh and the holy Bloodborne? According to your avatar, it should be even better!
What a surprisingly great game turned out to be...
Such a great game. So fun even when it's punishing...keeps you on your toes! Do yourself a favor and play this game.
@andreoni79 well my avatar used to be character from blooborne, lol, just like to change it up and "souls like" are definitely my favorite genre. The surge is not as good as Nioh or bloodborne, but still a very good game imo. Targeting different body parts to attack a weakness or to try and get a certain peice of armor/weapon is a unique loot system. If ur a die hard souls fan I would say check it out, if not I would say pick it up in a sale if u can.
@fontainelefunk Same here. I never buy games at launch anymore, always wait two years to see if they release a "Complete Edition", "GOTY Edition" etc with all DLC included.
Then I wait another 1-2 years for the GOTY/Complete Edition to drop down to $20-$30 New .
