SEGA’s showcased the new Tag gameplay set to add a little variety to the upcoming Sonic Forces. Essentially, these stages pair your custom character with the Blue Blur, and see you combining the heros' attributes to both move at speed and employ Wispon abilities such as the grappling hook and – in this video – a freeze attack.
It’s only a short clip, but it should give you a rough idea of what to expect from the Tag levels set to feature in the full game. Earlier today, the publisher confirmed a 9th November release date for the title in Japan, but there’s still no word on a Western timeframe.

I don't know why they don't just show off the full levels instead of short clips.
@Orpheus79V Probably because there's very few levels, I'd imagine.
This looks like a cool concept to work as a coop mode. Has Sega said anything about it?
Reminds me of Sonic Heroes.
@Azikira The game has been in development for nearly 4 years, so I'd hope not.
I dunno it reminds me of sonic generations with its layout but im not sure we will see its probably going to be poor which makes me sad im not overyly hyped about this mania on the other hand i cant get enough of that game
